PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gender adapter and a method of conversion for simultaneously using a plurality of host controllers by means of one electronic device. SOLUTION: The gender adapter comprises at least two first connection terminals for connection to a plurality of host controllers of an information device having the plurality of host controllers; a second connection terminal for connection to the electronic device; and a means by which data inputted from the electronic device via the second connection terminal are divided depending on the number of host controllers of the information device having the first connection terminals connected thereto.
