INTEGRATOR OF OPTICAL SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an integrator to increase optical efficiency in an optical system using a color drum. SOLUTION: The integrator is provided with: an opening 1 which receives light generated from a lamp; a route portion (a reflected surface) 3 passing reflecting the light received at the opening; a mirror portion 7 changing the irradiating direction of the light by refracting and totally reflecting the light that passes through the route portion; a deflection plate 4 transmitting the light having a fixed deflection direction and reflecting the light having the residual deflection direction; and wavelength plate 2 changing a phase of the light reflected on the deflection plate.
