PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a projector apparatus accurately and easily carrying out the detection of color temperature and the adjustment of white balance related to projection light under a light condition, and also shifting the position of a video formed by the projection light on a screen. SOLUTION: The projector apparatus 1 is equipped with a cover body 9 capable of intercepting the projection light at the rear of an optical means for projection 8, and a sensor means 10 is installed on the cover body 9. In addition to them, it is equipped with a sliding means 18 for causing the optical means 8 to slide in parallel with the axial line of the optical means 8 with respect to a casing 2 constituting an apparatus main body, and a follow-up means 19 for causing the sensor means 10 to follow up the sliding of the optical means 8.
