PURPOSE: Provided is a cosmetic compositions comprising as active ingredient, vitamin C or derivatives thereof and an Areca catechu L extract for preventing skin aging to increase wrinkle care effect and improve moisturization, and abirritate skin stimulation. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing skin aging is characterized by comprising 0.005-20 wt.% of vitamin C or its derivatives, such as ethyl ascorbyl ether, magnesium ascorbyl phosphate, ascorbic acid 2-glucoside or allantoin ascorbate, and 0.0001-10.0 wt.% of an Areca catechu L extract.
