<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ophthalmic instrument capable of enhancing operability at the time of up-and-down movement of a jaw receiving stand. <P>SOLUTION: In the opthalmic instrument having the up-and-down movable subject's jaw receiving stand, operation members for moving the jaw receiving stand up and down are provided to both left and right sides of the jaw receiving stand. This opthalmic instrument is equipped with two supports, which are vertically provided to the left and right of the jaw receiving stand to support the jaw receiving stand in an up-and-down movable manner and have the left and right operation members provided thereto so as to be rotatable around the axes of them, a conversion mechanism for converting the rotary motion of the operation member provided to one of two supports to the up-and-down movement of the jaw receiving stand and a rotation transmitting mechanism for transmitting the rotation of the operation member provided to the other one of two supports to the operation member on the side of the conversion mechanism. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
