<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information management system which increases the number of services which can be simultaneously provided, while suppressing the cost by repeating devices, and makes it difficult for malicious third parties to restore original data on the basis of an analogy from divided data in repeating devices and detects third parties' wrong alteration of data to make the breakdown of the entire services difficult. <P>SOLUTION: Data to be transmitted is divided in accordance with a division rule and is distributedly recorded in a plurality of repeating devices 300 when data is transmitted from a transmission device 100 to a reception device 200 through the plurality of repeating devices, so that data restoration is made difficult.
