<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately recognize each operation of a subject body of a machine or the like capable of operating in two or more operational modes, in relation to an information processor, a status judgment device and a diagnostic unit, an information processing method, a status judgment method, and a diagnostic method. <P>SOLUTION: The information processor is provided with detection means 1a to 1d which individually detect two or more groups of n parameter values which vary at the operation of the object body capable of operating in the two or more operational modes, in response to the operation, in each operational mode; and a self-organization map forming means 2 which forms a self-organization map, with detected data based on the two or more groups of parameter values detected by the detection means 1a to 1d being training data.
