TUMOR INVADING CYCLIC PEPTIDE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a peptide vector composed of a cyclic peptide repetitively systemically administrable to advanced solid cancer such as hepatic cancer or pancreatic cancer, useful for a drug delivery system, taken up into a tumor cell and transferred to cytoplasm and to provide a tumor trophic peptide vector using the cyclic peptide.

SOLUTION: A phage library in which a peptide having 9 amino acid sequences having cysteine at both terminals is displayed on the surface is brought into contact with a pancreatic cancer cell line or tumor formed by inoculating the pancreatic cancer cell line. Thereby, a phage actually taken up into the tumor cell is amplified. A DNA is extracted and subjected to sequencing and the cyclic peptide taken up into the tumor cell and transferred to the cytoplasm is identified by the determined base sequence.
