<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an individual management system using RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) to effectively deal with cases where individual recognition by RFID cannot be made for some reason, thereby protecting valuable information. <P>SOLUTION: The system is a double-security mechanism (system) using an individual recognition number different from an RFID number for RFID-based individual management. RFID is electronically stored in an electronic memory as ID data and read using a radio communication method. The individual recognition number different from RFID for the double-security mechanism is not stored in an RFID chip as electronic data. The individual recognition number assumes a form that can be physically read by the human eye or a form to be read by a method different from RFID, such as bar codes, i.e., a non-electronic recording physically attached to an individual, either directly or via an added piece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
