<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to smoothly insert a card into a card receiving opening by preventing the collision of the front end (tip) of the card with the card receiving opening at the time of inserting the card even when a card connector assembly is miniaturized. <P>SOLUTION: The card connector assembly 1 is provided with a frame 4 having the card receiving opening 42, a connector part 2 attached to the frame 4 on the opposite side of the card receiving opening 42 and allowed to be electrically connected to a card 16 inserted into the frame 4 and an ejection mechanism part 6 attached to the side part of the frame 4 to eject the inserted card 16 and the ejection mechanism part 6 has an operating rod 40 to be slid along the inserting/ejecting direction of the card 16. A pressing knob 48 is fixed to the end part of the operating rod 40 which is the card receiving opening 42 side and a guide part 66 for guiding the inserted card 16 into the card receiving opening 42 is formed on the pressing knob 48. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
