PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer paper for electrophotography having little curling and further superior in image contrast, without running troubles or the occurrence of blisters, and to provide an image forming method. SOLUTION: In the transfer paper for the electrophotography, containing a synthetic adhesive of 20°C or higher of a glass transition temperature on a coated layer, coated paper of 40 g/m2-100 g/m2in weighing (JIS P-8124), having the coated layer mainly comprising a pigment and an adhesive on both faces of a base material is composed of pulp of 420 ml in freeness (JIS P-8121).
