The circuitry (60, 160) includes at least one negative temperature coefficient thermistor (162) electrically coupled between the power source (34, 134) and the electrical device (50, 150) and being responsive to an electrical power surge condition to dissipate at least a portion of the power associated with the surge. The circuitry (60, 160) may also include at least one positive temperature coefficient thermistor (164) electrically coupled between the power source (34, 134) and the electrical device (50, 150) and being responsive to a change in electrical current to maintain the electrical current below an acceptable threshold level. |
