<p>A foldable access platform comprises a support 1,2,4,5, a pivotable frame 6 mounted to the support, and at least one retaining element 10, 11, the frame 6 being movable between a substantially horizontal storage position and a vertical operational position, the hinges 12, 13, having means to retain it there. A platform unit 14 is configured to engage the frame 6 in the vertical position. It may have hooks 16 and supporting struts as shown, and also corner posts and guard rails or chains.
