摘要 PURPOSE: A chip device for preventing a conductive pattern and an external electrode from being short-circuited is provided to facilitate a fabricating process and reduce defective proportion by reducing the possibility of short-circuit between an external terminal and an external conductive pattern. CONSTITUTION: An external conductive pattern(142a,142b,142c,142d) is formed on a device. An exposed internal conductive pattern is formed on the side surface of the device. The first and second external terminals are connected to portions of the external conductive pattern and the exposed internal conductive pattern. The third external terminal(132,133) is connected to another exposed internal conductive pattern formed on the side surface of the device. The external conductive pattern adjacent to the third external terminal includes a convex part to be separated from the third external terminal by a predetermined distance.
