SEPARATOR FOR REMOVING UNIFORMLY A GREAT QUANTITY OF CHIPS BY THE EQUAL FRICTIONAL FORCE OF A RUBBER ROLLER

PURPOSE: A separator for removing uniformly a great quantity of chips is provided to prevent the shaft-breakdown of a magnetic roll motor and to restrict grinding fluid from overflowing by the shaft-breakdown in a deposing reservoir. CONSTITUTION: A separator for removing uniformly a great quantity of chips(3) is composed of a collecting unit connected with a waterway and a removing unit installed with a magnetic roll(2). In a device for collecting chips from a roll grinding device, the separator equally sucks in and dewaters the chips generated in grinding the roll by an automatic stairs-shaped chip collecting block. The chips absorbed on the magnetic roll are inserted between the magnetic roll and a rubber roller(1) by rotating the magnetic roll and then the moisture remaining in the chips is removed. Grinding fluid(4) is sent to a grinding fluid tank. The separated chips are rotated along the magnetic roll, filtered by a chip removing plate, and then collected in a chip box of an underground pit.
