PURPOSE: A Braille monitor for displaying position information of a cursor and contents of a current line displayed on a general PC monitor is provided to display a current position status of the cursor when a blind person confirms the contents displayed on a Braille cell on a PC. CONSTITUTION: A PC main body(10) converts a text file load from a storage or inputted from a keyboard(22), a current page of a Braille text file, a position of a line cursor into the Braille data, and transfers it to a main controller(26). The keyboard projects the Braille on the Braille monitor by generating key event data, and is installed to input a specified character, a number, and a special character. A sub controller(24) reads/transmits the key event data of the keyboard to the main controller. The main controller displays the Braille data received from the PC main body, outputs a control signal for synthesizing a voice by an instruction received from the PC main body, and receives/transmits the key event data to the PC main body through the serial port. The Braille cell(28) displays the Braille data and the position information of the cursor by control of the main controller.
