PURPOSE: A shrink-proofing method of a gown for a hospital is characterized by cutting fabric on size being 10-15% bigger than real size, heating the cut fabric at 150-200deg.C to change properties of the fabric and being economical. CONSTITUTION: A shrink-proofing method of a gown for a hospital is as follows: printing patterns like a hospital mark or a hospital name on fabric; cutting the fabric on size being 10-15% bigger than real size; sewing the cut fabric to manufacture the gown; centrifugal-heating the gown with dyes with 150-200deg.C of steam heat for 20-30min. to change properties of the fabric and to dye the fabric; dehydrating the heated gown; drying the gown at 40-60deg.C to manufacture the gown having the same size as the real size; and then ironing the dried gown. |
