A vehicle e.g. a tractor has a plastic fuel tank (10) with a filling neck (12) and a closure (16) under a hinged cover (24) attached to an anchorage ring (22) around the filling neck. The cap is detachable from the ring. The ring has a number of attachment fixtures (70) that are concealed by the closed cap. The cap may be padlocked using commensurate flange fittings (60, 43).
