PURPOSE: A connection member insertion point designation system is provided to maximize efficiency of work by enabling a worker to designate a connection member insertion point conveniently and to correct an error after checking the result state on a screen in advance. CONSTITUTION: According to the connection member insertion point designation system(100), a database(140) stores shape data and graphic image data of each part of a component. A data input module(110) receives setting data by displaying a data input window to set every input value to designate the connection member insertion point. A simulation processing module(130) receives set data inputted from the data input module, and designates the connection member insertion point of the component and then generates simulation data. A display module(130) displays the simulation data generated by the simulation processing module through a display window. And a control module(101) controls interaction and data flow of each module, and transmits the simulation data to a process automation apparatus to perform the insertion process of the connection member.
