<p>PURPOSE: A torque detector is provided to easily operate a steering wheel by decreasing a steering force. CONSTITUTION: A torque detector includes a synchronous detector, a bridge circuit part, and a signal changing part. The synchronous detector generates a detection output signal by detecting an AC voltage signal having a predetermined DC level. The bridge circuit has a torque detecting coil serially connected to a temperature compensation coil. The torque detecting coil has an inductance varying correspondingly to the rotation of a steering wheel. The temperature compensation coil has an inductance varying correspondingly to the change of a temperature. The detection out signal and the DC voltage are applied to both ends of two coils serially connected to each other.</p> |
