The robot cleaner has a body with a drive part and a suction member and a bumper (200) attached to the cleaner body by a support structure (240), when a collision occurs between an obstacle and the cleaner the bumper moves towards the cleaner body to absorb the shock and protect the body. In response to the movement a sensor (300) is turned on and affects the controller in order to change the direction of the cleaner drive part to thereby move the cleaner away from the obstacle. |
