A holographic projection device for displaying a 3-dimensional image comprises a cylindrical base having a diagonally-cut top portion, and a figurine. The cylindrical base comprises a reflection-type hologram, a point source of white light for illuminating the reflection-type hologram, and at least one magnetic element. The figurine has a diagonally-cut bottom portion, and comprises at least one magnetic element. The reflection-type hologram projects an upright orthoscopic image having both horizontal and vertical parallaxes. The cylindrical base has the capability of detachably mounting the figurine with a magnetic attraction force between the magnetic element of the cylindrical base and the magnetic element of the figurine so that the figurine can superimpose with the holographic image from the reflection-type hologram. This invention relates to holographic projection devices for displaying a 3-dimensional image, and the principal use of the invention is for optical decoration. |
