METHOD FOR CALCULATING NOTCH DIAMETER OF BREAKING PIN USED FOR GUIDE VANE OF HYDRAULIC TURBINE

PURPOSE: A method for calculating a notch diameter of a breaking pin used for a guide vane of a hydraulic turbine is provided to shorten entire man-hour for calculating the notch diameter by automatically calculating the diameter of a round bar and the notch diameter. CONSTITUTION: A material of the round bar is selected to process the breaking pin used for the guide vane of the hydraulic turbine and the diameter of the breaking pin is calculated(S21). A stress concentration coefficient of a notch is calculated(S22). After finding out a notch diameter ratio for the round bar corresponding to the stress concentration coefficient, the notch diameter is calculated by inputting the diameter of the round bar(S24).
