摘要 PURPOSE: Optimization of lubrication of an isolator with a single spring is provided to reduce wear between the inner surface of the torsion spring and the input and output hub members, and to cut down manufacturing cost by modifying the torsion damping mechanism. CONSTITUTION: A rotary blower is composed of a housing(42), first and second mesh lobe rotors, and first and second mesh timing gears(62,63) fixed to the first and second mesh lobe rotors. A torsion damping mechanism transmits torque of an engine from an input drive(48) to the first timing gear, and comprises an input hub(52), an output hub(62) and a helical torsion spring(70) having an input end rotated with the input drive and an output end(74) rotated with the first timing gear. A chamber(44) is restricted by the housing, and air-oil mist is generated in the chamber by rotating the timing gear. The axial gap between the input end and the output end of the torsion spring is limited with the input hub and the output hub. The angle passage is restricted by the output hub, and air-oil mist is generated between the outer surface of the hub and the inner surface of the torsion spring through the angle passage and the axial gap in rotating the output hub.
