PURPOSE: An electromagnetic flowmeter is provided to measure flow rate of liquid-phase fluid in real time and to detect a bubble position with respect to an electrode by using a high-frequency exciting technique. CONSTITUTION: A triangle wave magnetic field driving section(31) supplies triangle wave alternate current to an electromagnetic coil(2). A resistance(39) is formed between the triangle wave magnetic field driving section(31) and the electromagnetic coil(2) in order to obtain reference voltage. By using reference voltage, a waveform of current supplied to an electromagnet is recognized. Current applied to the electromagnet is identical to the waveform of the magnetic field generated by the electromagnet, so an unstable flow rate signal is treated by using reference voltage. Reference voltage is converted into a pulse signal through a differentiator so as to adjust each device installed in a signal processing section(38).
