PURPOSE: An antiskid device for use with a multi-step walking stick is provided to increase safety of the walking stick and to enable users to more easily adjust the length of the walking stick. CONSTITUTION: The antiskid device for use with a multi-step walking stick employs O-shaped rings(23,24) at the lower parts of the first and second braces(21,22) formed at the end of the first and second steps(10,11), respectively. In particular, the O-shaped rings(23,24) are gradually compressed to the tilted lower surfaces of the first and second braces(21,22). Thus, when a user holds the first or second step(10,11) and turns the second or third step(11,12), the O-shaped rings(23,24) are compressed to the tilted surfaces of the first and second braces(21,22) and between the surfaces of the second and third steps(11,12) and function as a wedge.
