PURPOSE: A ceramic module incorporated thereinto a temperature compensate quartz oscillator and a frequency synthesizer are provided to minimize a size of the portable terminal employing the ceramic module. CONSTITUTION: A ceramic module incorporated thereinto a temperature compensate quartz oscillator and a frequency synthesizer includes a ceramic package(10), a quartz oscillator(20), a frequency synthesizer(60) and a temperature compensator integrated circuit(IC)(30). The ceramic package(10) is provided with a first cavity(11) formed on a top surface thereof, a second cavity(12) formed on a bottom surface thereof, a third cavity(13) formed inside of the first cavity(11) and a plurality of metal terminals(50) for electrically connecting to the metal patterns formed on the surfaces of the first to the third cavities(11,12,13). The quartz oscillator(20) is electrically connected to the metal pattern of the first cavity(11) and mounted on the first cavity(11). The frequency synthesizer(60) is electrically connected to the metal pattern of the second cavity(12) and mounted on the second cavity(12). And, the temperature compensator integrated circuit(IC)(30) is electrically connected to the metal pattern of the third cavity(13) and mounted on the third cavity(13).
