RECTIFICATION APPARATUS OF A SMALL MOTOR AND A METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE RECTIFICATION APPARATUS TO STABILIZE A STATE OF CONTACT TO A COMMUTATOR

PURPOSE: A rectification apparatus of a small motor and a method of manufacturing the rectification apparatus are provided to stabilize a state of contact to a commutator and decrease abrasion of a brush sliding part and the commutator by selecting optimal material of a plating layer or optimal material combination thereof. CONSTITUTION: A brush sliding part is formed by plating Pd(palladium) onto a part of brush materials which supports the brush sliding part. The Pd plating is interposed by Ni(nickel) plating onto the brush materials. For forming the brush sliding part, C(carbon) is included on the surface of the Pd plating and near the surface thereof. Each of commutator pieces which comprise a motor commutator includes a commutator piece sliding part to which the brush sliding part is contacted by sliding, and commutator piece materials that support the commutator piece sliding part.
