摘要 PURPOSE: A method for performing a fracture mechanical estimation for a virtual defect in a rotor is provided to understand the possible defect in the rotor and estimate a growth speed of the defect by understanding thermal stress and centrifugal stress applied to the rotor. CONSTITUTION: Basic information such as geometrical information of the rotor, a steam temperature applied to the rotor, flow rate information, and a rotating speed of the rotor is inputted(S201). The thermal stress and the centrifugal stress applied to the rotor are calculated based on the basic information(S202). It is judged whether the defect is generated in the rotor based on the thermal stress and the centrifugal stress. A position of the defect in the rotor is converted in an orthogonal coordinate system(S203). The defect growth speed according to a size of the defect is calculated by understanding a distance between defects(S204). The basic information of the rotor is modified based on the defect growth speed(S205).
