PURPOSE: A composition of active material for a lithium battery anode is provided to improve binding capacity, charging-discharging properties and battery capacity of a lithium battery which contains the anode plate prepared from the composition. CONSTITUTION: The composition of active material for a lithium battery anode comprises anode active material, binder and solvent, wherein the binder is a mixture of sulfur(Sx, wherein x is an integer of 1-8) and one or more polymer resin selected from a group consisting of styrene-butadiene rubber, butadiene rubber, isobutylene-isoprene rubber, acrylate butadiene rubber, acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, polychloroprene, polyisobutylene butyl rubber, ethylene-propylene rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene, ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, ethylene-acrylate copolymer, polyperfluorovinylmethyl ether, polyperfluorobutyl acrylate and polyhexafluoropropylene oxide.
