PURPOSE: A portable terminal and a position information supply system using a geomagnetic sensor/location-based service are provided to supply a navigation service without comprising a GPS receiving device by using a geomagnetic sensor and a location-based service, thereby realizing a position information announcing system at low cost. CONSTITUTION: A battery pack(300) consists of a geomagnetic sensor(310) for checking a change of a magnetic field, recognizing a motion of a portable terminal(400), and outputting a position signal, and an analog/digital converter(320) for receiving the position signal to convert into position data and outputting the converted position data. A controller(430) receives the position data from the battery pack(300), and displays a proceeding direction on a display(440).
