CATHODE RAY TUBE WITH ELECTRON GUN, CAPABLE OF PREVENTING THERMAL AND STATIC CONVERGENCE DRIFT BY SETTING OF POSITION OF ELECTRODES

PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube is provided to effectively prevent thermal and static convergence drift by setting position of electrodes so as to offset changes of distance between center axes of center beam and side beam of electrode. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube comprises an electron gun including a plurality of cathodes for emitting electron beams and an electrode unit for controlling, accelerating and focusing the electron beams. Each of the electrodes has S-value which is set differently from SO, wherein SO is the distance between center axes of center beam and side beam of the cathode, and S-value is the distance between center axes of center beam and side beam of electrode.
