SWIVEL HINGE AND A FOLDER-TYPE PORTABLE TERMINAL USING THE SWIVEL HINGE, SPECIALLY CORRELATED TO SELECTIVELY ROTATING A FOLDER ACCORDING TO AN OPEN/CLOSE ANGLE OF THE FOLDER

PURPOSE: A swivel hinge and a folder-type portable terminal using the swivel hinge are provided to rotate a folder in horizontal direction on the front side of a main portion, only when the folder is open at certain angle for the main portion, thereby rotating the folder at a position where interference between the main portion and the folder does not exist. CONSTITUTION: The first hinge(20) comprises the first hinge axis(24). The second hinge(30) comprises the second hinge axis(34) extended so as to be orthogonal with an extended direction of the first hinge axis(24). A stopper engagement portion(35) is integratedly rotated with the second hinge axis(34), and comprises hooking surfaces on both ends symmetrical with each other. A stopper(26) is used, wherein one end thereof is faced to the hooking surfaces of the stopper engagement portion(35) to restrict a rotation of the second hinge(30). The stopper(26) freely rotates the hooking surfaces of the stopper engagement portion(35) according to a rotational degree of the first hinge(20).
