摘要 PURPOSE: To provide a teeming flux for improving quality of ingots by well performing functions of reoxidation prevention of molten steel and absorption and heat reserving of nonmetallic inclusions, thereby improving properties of the surface of the ingots. CONSTITUTION: The teeming flux for improving the surface of ingots comprises 2 to 10 wt.% of CaO, 35 to 45 wt.% of SiO2, 12 to 25 wt.% of Al2O3, 4 to 20 wt.% of Na2O, 3 to 10 wt.% of CaF2, 8 to 15 wt.% of carbon, and the balance being other inevitable impurities, wherein the carbon has a particle size corresponding to a sieve size of 300 to 800 mesh, and the teeming flux has a softening point of 1,160 deg.C and Al2O3 melting power of 6g/100g.
