PURPOSE: A device of calculating quantity of light and a calculating method thereof are provided to prevent problems due to the quantity of light by automatically calculating the amount of light necessary for an ultraviolet light-curable tape. CONSTITUTION: An ultraviolet light irradiation unit(61) is used for irradiating ultraviolet light. An adhering force measurement unit(71) measures the adhering force of an ultraviolet light-curable tape. A calculation unit(60) calculates the quantity of ultraviolet light corresponding to a predetermined adhering force from the adhering force of the ultraviolet light-curable tape measured by the adhering force measuring unit dependent on the quantity of ultraviolet light with which the ultraviolet light-curable tape is irradiated from the ultraviolet light irradiation unit.
