摘要 PURPOSE: A structure of an inner profile of a radial tire is provided to improve the durability of the tire and the fuel efficiency of the vehicle, and to decrease the weight of the tire by modifying the inner profile of the shoulder part beyond the worst point measuring region. CONSTITUTION: A radial tire of a vehicle is composed of a tread(2) having a groove(1), a side wall and a shoulder part(4) connecting the tread to the side wall. The inner profile of the radial tire is designed with plural tread radiuses(TR1,TR2) and a radius(SR) of the shoulder part. An inner side groove(5) of the shoulder part starts at 75 % of the minimum tread width of the radial tire because the wear measuring range of the worst point is within 75 % of the entire tread width. The volume and the weight of the shoulder part is deceased by lowering the depth of the inner side groove less than the full depth of the main groove depth in the inner profile of the radial tire.
