PURPOSE: Provided is a absorbent pad for absorbing food liquid, which is provided with excellent antibacterial property and absorbing rate by using non-woven fabric containing antibacterial substances alone or laminate of the non-woven fabric and tissue layer. CONSTITUTION: In a absorbent pad for absorbing liquid from food which consists of a top sheet(10), a back sheet(30) and an absorbent material layer(20) disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, the top sheet and the back sheet consists of a non-woven fabric(11,31) containing antibacterial substances alone or a laminate of the non-woven fabric and tissue layer(12,32), and the absorbent material layer consists of at least two selected from pulp, thermoactive fiber, absorbent filament and powdery or granular absorbent resin. The content of the antibacterial substance in non-woven fabric is from 0.1 to 3.0% by weight.
