PURPOSE: A structure for a cylinder liner of an engine is provided to prevent deformation of the cylinder bore and to reduce oil consumption and slip noise by forming the thick outside of the cylinder liner and reinforcing the outside of the cylinder block. CONSTITUTION: Plural cylinders are formed in a cylinder block(20), and a cylinder liner is formed in the cylinder to guide reciprocating motion of a piston. Eccentric cylinder liners(40) are inserted to a front cylinder(21) and a rear cylinder(24) of the cylinder block, and the center of the outer bore of the eccentric cylinder liner is placed outside the cylinder block against the center of the inner bore. The outer thickness of the eccentric cylinder liner is greater than the inner thickness of the eccentric cylinder liner. The outer diameter of the eccentric cylinder liner is larger than the outer diameter of an inner concentric cylinder liner(30), and the bore of the eccentric cylinder liner is equal to the bore of the concentric cylinder liner.
