PURPOSE: A device and a method for processing SIM data of a mobile communication terminal embedded with dual processors are provided to store SIM copy data in a shared memory, so that a multimedia chip can carry out an SIM-related process by directly accessing the shared memory, thereby improving an SIM access speed. CONSTITUTION: An SIM card(300) stores SIM original data. A modem chip(100) reads the SIM original data from the SIM card(300), and uploads the read data. A high-capacity DPRAM(400) stores the uploaded SIM original data. A multimedia chip(200) directly accesses the stored SIM copy data stored in the high-capacity DPRAM(400) to process or read information. The modem chip(100) consists of an SIM data loader(101) for uploading the SIM original data and an SIM data writer(102) for writing the SIM data.
