摘要 PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a water box flange of a desalination system is provided to minimize the deformation in the processing of a water box flange used for a water box and an intermediate piece and to simplify the work process. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a water box flange of a desalination system includes a step of forming a long bar shape unit piece by forging work, a step of joining the unit piece in ring shape by welding and a step of treating the joined unit piece with heat. While the unit piece(141) of a flange is formed in the long bar shape by the forging work, an improved taper portion is formed with the unit piece along one side face. Since the unit piece is formed by the forging work, the waste of a material is avoided. The thickness of the unit piece is minimized, and the texture of a steel material forming the unit piece is tightened. Thus, deformation is minimized during welding.
