The actuator has a movable magnetic part (20) comprising magnets (201) and portions (202) arranged alternatively in a displacement direction. A displacement triggering unit (30) has a conductor (31) configured in sections (31.1, 31.2), where the sections are arranged alternatively along the displacement direction. Consecutive magnets and the portions cooperate with consecutive sections after triggering of displacement. The magnets and the portions have alternate magnetic field, and current circulates in opposite direction in consecutive sections. An independent claim is also included for a process of manufacturing a magnetic actuator.
