PURPOSE: A system for controlling power-saving for electric home appliances based on an FM DARC channel is provided to easily control electric home appliances of each household all over the country by a central control center, thereby temporarily controlling power consumption of the corresponding electric home appliance according to a national power consumption state. CONSTITUTION: An electric home appliance on/off control information supply server(101) generates a series of electric home appliance on/off control information and supplies the generated electric home appliance on/off control information to the outside. An electric home appliance on/off control information inserting station(210) receives the electric home appliance on/off control information in real time, controls a level of the electric home appliance on/off control information according to a level of FM(Frequency Modulation) broadcasting signals outputted from an FM broadcasting signal supply station(202), and inserts the level-controlled electric home appliance on/off control information into a DARC(DAta Radio Channel) of the FM broadcasting signals. An FM broadcasting signal transmitting station(203) receives the FM broadcasting signals having the electric home appliance on/off control information, and transmits the corresponding FM broadcasting signals to the outside. An electric home appliance on/off control information reception/management tool(300) is installed at a part of each electric home appliance(2), receives the FM broadcasting signals, separates the electric home appliance on/off control information from the FM broadcasting signals, and selectively controls power on/off state of the electric home appliances(2) according to statement particulars.
