摘要 PURPOSE: A circuit for recovering an energy and a method for driving the same are provided to reduce the power consumption of the driving circuit by reducing the sustain voltage in a half. CONSTITUTION: A circuit for recovering an energy includes a reference voltage source(Vs/2), a panel capacitor(Cp), a double voltage circuit(2), an inductor(L), a first switch(SW1), a second switch(SW2) and a first diode(D1). The panel capacitor is equivalently formed on the discharge cell of the panel. The double voltage circuit supplies makes the sustain voltage double the reference voltage and supplies the sustain voltage to the panel capacitor. The inductor is installed between the reference voltage source and the panel capacitor. The first switch is installed one side of the inductor and the reference voltage source. The second switch is installed between the other side of the inductor and the base voltage source to turn on by being synchronized with the first switch when the inductor is charged by the reference voltage source. And, the first diode causes the first reverse voltage to the inductor when the first and the second switches are turned off and forms the current path to supplies the first reverse voltage to the panel capacitor.
