NOVEL ISOCYANATE COMPOUND WITH AT LEAST TWO SULFUR ATOMS IN MOLECULES AND URETHANE RESIN WITH SULFUR FOR OPTICAL LENS CONTAINING ISOCYANATE COMPOUND

摘要

PURPOSE: Provided is a novel isocyanate compound with at least two sulfur atoms in molecules which is superior in refraction index and optical property so that it is useful for producing urethane resin which is widely used as optical materials for plastic lens. CONSTITUTION: The novel isocyanate compound with at least two sulfur atoms in molecules is represented by formula 1, wherein n is an integer of 1-2. The urethane resin with sulfur for the optical lens is prepared by mixing polythiol compound with at least two functional groups and the isocyanate compound represented by the formula 1 or mixtures of the isocyanate compound represented by the formula 1 and other isocyanate compounds.
