FUSING UNIT OF A COLOR LASER PRINTER TO IMPROVE FLEXIBILITY IN DESIGN FOR COUPLING THE FUSING UNIT TO PERIPHERAL STRUCTURE

PURPOSE: A fusing unit of a color laser printer is provided to improve flexibility in design for coupling the fusing unit to peripheral structure by adopting a plastic mold bearing as a member for supporting fusing rollers. CONSTITUTION: In a fusing unit(100), a record medium onto which an image has been transferred is passed between two rollers rotated closely to each other. The rollers are rotatably supported by a frame through a bearing. This bearing is comprised of a plastic mold bearing. A coupling rib is prepared at the frame. A coupling groove, slidingly coupled to the coupling rib, is formed at the bearing. The bearing is fixed at the frame when the coupling rib is inserted into the coupling groove.
