METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VARNISH-IMPREGNATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide varnish-impregnation method which can remove air efficiently and sufficiently from a fiber sheet substrate. SOLUTION: After the fiber sheet substrate 1 is impregnated with the varnish 2, the substrate 1 is introduced into a decompressed space 3 sealed by the varnish 2. After that, the substrate 1 is introduced into the varnish 2 sealing the space 3 while the substrate 1 is removed from the space 3. The decompressed substrate 1 immediately after passing through the space 3 is not exposed to outside air (air) of an ordinary pressure, and the outside air (air) does not act on the substrate 1.
