PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuse blowout detection device, capable of easily applying a fuse without blowout detection which is more advantageous in performance than a fuse with blowout detection, to a power converting device such as a converter or an inverter. SOLUTION: For detecting blowout of a fuse 5 connected in a power supply path to a load 4, the fuse blowout detecting device comprises voltage detecting means 6, 7, 8 for detecting voltage generated at each end of the fuse 5, and a blowout detection signal generating means 9 for detecting blowout of the fuse according to the voltage detected by the voltage detecting means, and for generating a blowout detection signal.
