PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drastically increase heating capacity by radiant heat. SOLUTION: This air conditioner is provided with a refrigerant circuit 10 in which a compressor 11, an indoor heat exchanger 13 and an outdoor heat exchanger 15 are connected through a pipeline and refrigeration cycle is performed by refrigerant circulation, and performs heating operation to supply hot air having exchanged heat with refrigerant through the indoor heat exchanger 13 into a room. The refrigerant circuit 10 is provided with a radiation panel 12 connected between a discharge side of the compressor 11 and the indoor heat exchanger 13 to absorb the heat from the refrigerant and supply the radiant heat into the room, and constituted so that high pressure of the refrigeration cycle can be higher than critical pressure of the refrigerant. Accordingly a large high temperature range of the refrigerant can be obtained, the radiant heat of higher temperature is supplied from the radiation panel 12 into the room, and a hot air quantity of the indoor heat exchanger 13 is reduced, which reduces a feeling of draft.
