PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a fin for a heat exchanger of low flow-through resistance without using a piercing die of high accuracy. SOLUTION: A slot 3 of the shape to achieve the desired shape after the waveform forming is formed at a predetermined position of a header hole 4 on a fin material 2, and then the waveform is formed on the fin material 2 to manufacture the fin 1A for the heat exchanger.
