PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control means for avoiding overheat when cooking foods with microwave heat. SOLUTION: This heating cooker comprises an infrared sensor 22 for detecting the temperature of a food, a thermistor 21 for detecting an atmospheric temperature in the cooker, and the control means for controlling a microwave heating means in accordance with these temperature detection signals. When the result of the temperature detected by one of the infrared sensor 22 and the thermistor 21 shows a preset value during heating cooking with the heating means, the control means receives the detection signal and controls the completion of heating cooking.
